As a control, we used material from 10 persons aged 20–30 years who died from injuries.</p> <p><bold><italic>RESULTS:</italic> </bold>Our results show that, in men in the process of aging, atherosclerotic changes occur in the extra-organic arteries,, leading to a narrowing of the lumen. In the intra-organ arteries, thickening of the media, hyperelastosis, and hyalinosis are observed, leading to a reduction in blood flow and are markers of arterial hypertension. The formation of the so-called closing arteries with a powerful intimate layer indicates adaptation to hemodynamic disorders. Over time, sclerosis grows in the media of arteries and in the intima of the closing vessels. The veins of the bladder lose a powerful smooth muscle layer in the wall and undergo sclerosis, making blood outflow difficult, and aggravating chronic hypoxia. Remodeling of the vascular bed of the bladder leads to detrusor atrophy and degenerative-dysregenerative changes in the urothelium.</p> <p><italic><bold>CONCLUSIONS: </bold></italic>In the vascular bed of the urinary bladder in elderly and senile men, atherosclerotic and angiotonic changes characteristic of arterial hypertension progress occur, followed by the development of detrusor atrophy and impaired urothelium regeneration.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold><italic>Обоснование.</italic> </bold>В связи с наметившейся тенденцией к старению населения в структуре заболеваемости неуклонно растёт доля геронтологической патологии с поражением различных органов и систем, в том числе связанной со структурными изменениями мочевого пузыря.</p> <p><italic><bold>Цель</bold> —</italic> изучить морфологическую перестройку мочевого пузыря и его сосудистой системы у лиц пожилого и старческого возраста.</p> <p><bold><italic>Материал и методы.</italic></bold> С помощью ряда гистологических, морфометрических и статистических методик изучен аутопсийный материал в виде кусочков стенки мочевого пузыря от 25 мужчин в возрасте 60–80 лет. В качестве контроля использовали материал от 10 лиц в возрасте 20–30 лет, погибших в результате травм.</p> <p><bold><italic>Результаты.</italic></bold> Показано, что у мужчин в процессе старения во внеорганных артериях выявляются атеросклеротические изменения, приводящие к сужению просвета. Во внутриорганных артериях наблюдается утолщение медии, гиперэластоз и гиалиноз, также приводящие к редукции кровотока и являющиеся маркером артериальной гипертензии. Отражением приспособления к расстройству гемодинамики является формирование так называемых замыкающих артерий с мощным интимальным слоем. Со временем в медии артерий, а также в интиме замыкающих сосудов нарастает склероз, вены мочевого пузыря утрачивают мощный гладкомышечный слой в стенке, подвергаются склерозу, что ведёт к затруднению оттока крови, усугубляя хроническую гипоксию. Ремоделирование сосудистого русла мочевого пузыря приводит к атрофии детрузора и дегенеративно-дисрегенеративным изменениям уротелия.</p> <p><bold><italic>Выводы.</italic> </bold>В сосудистом русле мочевого пузыря у мужчин пожилого и старческого возраста прогрессируют атеросклеротические и ангиотонические изменения, свойственные артериальной гипертензии с последующим развитием атрофии детрузора и нарушением регенерации уротелия.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>older men</kwd><kwd>age-related involution</kwd><kwd>urinary bladder</kwd><kwd>blood vessels</kwd><kwd>bladder wall</kwd><kwd>age-related structural changes</kwd><kwd>morphometry</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>мужчины</kwd><kwd>пожилой возраст</kwd><kwd>старческий возраст</kwd><kwd>стенка мочевого пузыря</kwd><kwd>возрастные структурные изменения</kwd><kwd>морфометрия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Baranenkova T.A.
