Women showed a tendency towards hemispheric asymmetry of the indices studied with their greater values found in left hemisphere. In the group of men, the opposite tendency to hemispheric asymmetry was found: greater values of the indices studied were detected in right hemisphere.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>С помощью морфометрического метода проведено изучение площадей профильного поля нейронов, плотности расположения нейронов и глиоцитов базолатерального ядра миндалевидного тела в левом и правом полушариях мозга у 6 мужчин и 6 женщин в возрасте от 19 до 55 лет. У женщин обнаружена тенденция к асимметрии величин изучаемых показателей, которые преобладали в левом полушарии.
