Marinesco bodies were identified in substantia nigra sections of 5 men aged 28 to 58 years old using Nissl staining and immunohistochemical detection of ubiquitin - the protein characteristic of this intranuclear inclusion. Marinesco bodies were found in 1-2% of the substantia nigra neurons, but not in adjacent brain areas. One neuron contained 1-4 Marinesco bodies sized up to 6.7×5.1 μm, which were located both near and at a distance from the nucleolus. Most Marinesco bodies exhibited ubiquitin expression. A trend was found for the increased incidence of Marinesco bodies in human substantia nigra neurons with age.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Цель настоящего исследования - изучение встречаемости и внутриядерного расположения телец Маринеско в нейронах черного вещества головного мозга человека. Тельца Маринеско выявляли на срезах черного вещества у 5 мужчин в возрасте от 28 до 58 лет. Использовали окраску по Нисслю и иммуногистохимическую реакцию на убиквитин - характерный белок данных внутриядерных включений. Тельца Маринеско были обнаружены в 1-2% нейронов черного вещества, но не в соседних областях мозга. В одном нейроне выявлялись 1-4 тельца Маринеско размером до 6,7×5,1 мкм, они располагались как вблизи, так и на отдалении от ядрышка. В большинстве телец Маринеско определялся убиквитин.
